What We Do
Last year, we were able to treat nearly 83%
of our newpatients without surgery, a statistic
every surgeon should strive for.
Our practice is dedicated exclusively to surgical and non-surgical care of the Shoulder and Elbow. Over 90% our surgical procedures are performed with minimally invasive arthroscopy, using small cameras and incisions less than 5mm in size. Complex fracture care and shoulder replacement surgeries are performed using open minimally invasive techniques designed to minimize incisions and disruption of surrounding tissues which speed recovery and reduce pain.
If you can laugh together,
you can work together.
Insurance Policy
NEARLY ALL MAJOR INSURANCE PLANS ACCEPTED
In an effort to care for our patients and community as best we can, we accept almost all insurance carriers. Unfortunately though, many patients and families cannot afford health insurance. We are happy to accommodate for those without insurance on needs basis with deferred payments, credit application assistance, and payment plans. Because we are a Medicare provider it is considered Medicare fraud to not
charge an uninsured patient; We will do whatever we can toensure that all
needs are met for our patients.
Referrals
We do not require a referral to be seen. Many of our patients are referred to us by friends, patients, or word of mouth. Also, many patients find us through internet research. We are happy to see all patients.
It is important to know that some insurance companies do, however, require a referral for specialty care. Your insurance carrier will have this information, but we are happy to help if you need it.

TRM is the official rehabilitation and sports
performance partner of UAMS Health.

I had suffered from shoulder pain and had multiple surgeries on my shoulders without much relief. Another doctor told me to wait for Dr. Cox to open his practice here so I did. I am very glad that I did! Dr Cox did a total reverse shoulder replacement on me 4 months ago and am pain free for the first time in over 20 years. Even the surgery itself was much less painful than the others I had in the past. I had lost so much of the function of my right shoulder and arm and was in so much pain all the time that I had a hard time thinking it would ever be better!
I am absolutely thrilled with the results of my surgery, the skills and bedside manner of Dr. Cox. THEY ARE ALL THE GREATEST!!!! THANKS SO VERY MUCH FOR IMPROVING MY QUALITY OF LIFE!

I have been in construction for 30 years and because of that I somehow hurt my right shoulder. It was my family physician that referred you to me. After our first visit I received an injection to see if that would help. It didn't. The only option I had was to receive arthroscopy surgery. After the surgery I have experienced no pain in either shoulder. I have returned back to working full time. I am also able to sleep the whole night without my shoulders going numb.
I have been very pleased with the whole experience from the way I was treated by your staff and yourself, to the how I have recovered from the surgery. I would highly recommend you and this surgery to anyone I know.
Thank you for giving me a new outlook on life.
